The King County Women's Advisory Board is currently seeking board members.
The King County Women’s Advisory Board (WAB) makes recommendations to the King County Executive and the King County Council to ensure the needs, rights and well being of women are taken into account by county government. It was established in 1978. Our current project is an analysis of the King County Justice system and how it affects women in the county.
Meeting Details
Women's Advisory Board meetings are held bimonthly from from 5:45 p.m. to 7:15 p.m., most often at the YWCA Greenbridge Career Center Conference Room, 9720 8th Avenue SW, Seattle. The public is welcome to attend.
The following dates have been set for the 2011 Women's Program Advisory Board meetings: Jan. 6, March 3, May 5, July 7, Sept. 29, Nov. 3 and Dec. 1.
