2010-2011 Announcement for Internship Availability

 

6-MONTHS AND ONE YEAR  & SUMMER   

All internships are conducted under the supervision of

Dr. Ani Kalayjian - Founder and President of ATOP

Georgina Galanis - VP of Development of ATOP

A sense of meaning, peace, and justice, although unique to each individual, is achieved through a transformative journey that integrates knowledge and experience with a sense of responsibility and reflection. This transformative process is also attained through healthy INTERNSHIPS that nurture open, honest, and transparent communication, insight into forgiveness, love and spiritual connection, and supportive collaborations. 

Meaningfulworld Internships are available in the following categories:

1. Development Intern: The intern will work with the President and staff to create grant proposals and investigate new funding opportunities, research funding strategies, and create strategic plan for fundraising. Define major funding goals for 2010 and strategies to reach these benchmarks .  Qualifications:  previous experience in writing grants, outstanding written skills, and passion. 

2.  United Nations Representative:  The UN Rep will work closely with the President, and the Main UN Representative to attend conferences and meetings at the UN, prepare reports & summaries, disseminate UN publications and conventions to the community, and share our organizational research and publications with the delegates.  Qualifications: Highly motivated and mature individual who is guided by the UN Human Rights Declaration; excellent communication skills (both written and oral), knowledge of multiple languages is an asset.

3.  Design Intern:  The intern will assist the President and staff in creating posters, fliers, newspaper ads, website design, pamphlets, and quarterly newsletters. Advise on website design and produces electronic and print materials to promote events, education, and advocacy. Qualifications:  proficiency in InDesign, Dreamweaver, Photoshop (or Gimp), and Illustrator. Ability to work independently, to multi-task and to work under deadline.

Videographer, photographer, and film editor

 Research,  Publishing, and PowerPoint Presentations
