Are you interested in helping guide young people to be contributing citizens of society?
The YouthBuild program is looking for speakers to speak on Leadership Mondays. This is a day when students learn about different topics such as leadership styles, how to exercise their leadership skills, learn about green building, the environment, health and fitness, social justice, careers, job readiness, issues surrounding the region and much more. We are preparing our students for the world of work, high school completion and entering higher education.
Speakers from different backgrounds are needed. Bring your experience, knowledge and any resource you would like to share with our young adults.
We are a small alternative school that serves students who are underrepresented and have many barriers that in the past impeded them to finish school. We have a dynamic program that works very closely with the students to help them overcome those barriers and help the students reach their goals.
Interested speakers can contact Linda Morales at 206-205-3632 or at Linda.morales@kingcounty.gov
Speakers are needed for the following days and times. They can speak about any of the topics mentioned above.
