LT Alumni Workshop: Unpacking Gender Identity

How do we as leaders create an inclusive environment for all gender identities? Please join us for a workshop led by Kaya David, LT’18, to unpack the science, history, and assumptions we make about gender and gender identity. This is a safe place to ask questions and learn more together. Food and drinks will be provided.

  • Where: LT Offices (1301 5th Ave, Suite 1500, Seattle, WA 98101)

  • Who this event is for: LT alumni, LT’23 class members, honorary LT, and guests

  • Cost: $25-50 sliding scale (scholarships are available)

  • Parking and Public Transportation: parking in our building costs $10 if you arrive after 5:00 p.m. We are one block away from the University Street light rail station.

Trainer Bio:

Kaya Mayari David, LT’18, is the Director of Development at Ada Developers Academy. They are a first-generation immigrant of mixed Tagalog, Kapampangan, and Ilocano ancestry; a nonbinary queer trans themme; a former dancer; an avid backpacker; a tender of gardens, and; a Libra/Aquarius/Libra who gets their life from beauty and justice. Kaya worked in various capacities for arts and LGBTQ+ organizations both in Seattle and New York and most recently they were the development manager at Ingersoll Gender Center. They are excited to partner with you on making the world a better place for gender diversity!
