The Housing Coordinator is a project-based position that will work closely with the Executive Director and Allyship team to coordinate the logistics of 2019 LGBTQ Housing Leadership Institute, the logistics of the South King County LGBTQ housing committee, the logistics in completing Allyship’s 2018 South King county LGBTQ Housing Listening Session report and the logistics of Allyship’s 2019 LGBTQ Housing Conference. The Coordinator will be working in South King County advancing LGBTQ housing equity and will be working with LGBTQ seniors/older adults and elders on housing issues in King County. The Coordinator will assist in fundraising and volunteer recruitment activities and various other housing projects that form throughout the year. She/he/they will build community storytellers around LGBTQ housing equity.
This position reports directly to the executive director.
Salary: Starts at $17,000 to $20,500 (depends on experience) with health stipend, retirement benefits, generous paid vacation and Personal Time Off benefits.
*This position starts at 20 hours a week and we plan for this position to grow. Therefore, Allyship is looking for candidates who have the flexibility to increase their hours.
