Senior Development Associate
While young people from low-income communities – who are disproportionately young people of color – face systemic inequities in school, in the workforce, and in life, they possess unique strengths, resilience and tremendous potential. When provided with support and resources, these young people fulfill their potential and achieve success in school, work and life.
Through a combination of mentoring and transformative experiences, Summer Search supports young people to successfully transition from adolescence into adulthood. We aim to unleash the potential of our young people while also building a toolkit for navigating and challenging systemic barriers to higher education and career opportunities.
Our alumni are three times more likely to graduate with a 4-year degree than their peers and become the kind of leaders our country needs -- civic leaders, advocates, industry leaders, teachers, mothers and fathers. Their collective leadership ripples out into the community and future generations and contributes to a more equitable society.
Summer Search Seattle is seeking a Senior Development Associate who loves all things development operations -- from data to events management -- and is eager to contribute to a successful $1.5M fundraising program. Reporting to the Director of Development, this position will use Raiser’s Edge to meticulously manage donor data, develop the reports and systems to ensure effective and efficient local development initiatives, and lead the execution of large-scale fundraising events and smaller donor cultivation events. With enthusiasm to learn and collaborate with a 4-member development team, this position will have the opportunity to help Summer Search Seattle deepen our impact and serve more young leaders of today and tomorrow in South King County.
