Tribal Early Learning Liaison

The Department of Children, Youth, and Families is a new cabinet agency in Washington State that has been established for the purpose of delivering existing services in a way that produces better outcomes for children, youth, and families served by the State of Washington.
We're looking for a Tribal Early Learning Liaison to join our team to help build DCYF. Join an agency whose sole mission is to protect children and strengthen families so they flourish!
The Opportunity:
In the role of tribal early learning liaison, you will draw upon your past experience of successfully working with tribal communities and governments as well as your knowledge of state and federal early learning programs to assure quality and comprehensive program service delivery in the areas of child welfare & early learning.
Reporting directly to the Director of Tribal Relations, you will work collaboratively with tribes and Recognized American Indian Organizations (RAIOs) and staff from across the agency (e.g., program, field operations, IT, budget/ fiscal, research and data, legislative, policy, communications, tribal relations, etc.) as well as external partners to monitor activities and compliance related to the Centennial Accord and RCW 43.376.020.
