Chief Financial Officer

The CFO oversees administrative services: Accounting/Payroll, investments, management information systems, Facilities, Housing Operations, and Asset Management. Member of the YWCA Executive Team. Directly supervise four staff, with a total of approximately thirty-five staff. Responsible for the timely, accurate operation of the YWCA’s accounting and financial reporting system. Leads the agency’s yearly planning and budget process. Oversees the agency’s annual consolidated audit, which includes multiple related legal entities. Maintains the agency’s property and liability insurance coverage for assets and operations.

Oversees reporting for low income housing tax credit entities. Staff’s the following Board Committees: Finance, Audit, and Investment. Confers with and advises Chief Executive Officer on major issues related to the organization. Provides professional staff support for mergers/acquisitions and property development as needed.

YWCA has an operating budget of $36M, over 300 FTE’s, and operates programs in 30 locations, of which 20 are YWCA owned facilities, throughout King & Snohomish Counties. Agency funding comes from three main sources of revenue: 50% government contracts (from over 100 contracts), 25% programs fees, and 25% from philanthropy and investment income.
