Donor Relations Officer

This position will be critical to informing and executing strategy to transform United Way’s mid-level giving program and pipeline. You will oversee a comprehensive, multi-year fundraising strategy for prospective and current United Way donors and help build a pipeline of new major gifts donors, while coordinating with a wide-range of colleagues and volunteers. This position is responsible for qualifying and cultivating a large number of research-rated prospective donors who potentially care about the mission and priorities of United Way of King County.
This position is also responsible for completing discovery meetings with current and prospective major gift donors, as well as soliciting gifts and stewarding mid-level donors. The Donor Relations Officer will spend a significant amount of time (between 60 - 70%) engaging prospective major donors face-to-face, on the phone, or through emails.
