Amanda Winterhalter (She/her), Senior Development Manager
As Senior Development Manager, Amanda builds and stewards meaningful relationships with alumni, individual donors, foundations, and corporate sponsors that provide critical funding for Leadership Tomorrow. She leads LT's fundraising and development strategy, working alongside the board and executive leadership to generate and steward gifts and grants that sustain and advance LT's programming and mission. Amanda is passionate about fundraising for nonprofit impact in local communities, contributing to a thriving Pacific Northwest region.
After beginning her career in education and the arts, Amanda has spent the last decade helping nonprofits tell their impact stories to engage new partners and supporters in their work, including Town Hall Seattle, The Bushwick Book Club Seattle, KUOW Puget Sound Public Radio and Seattle Arts & Culture for Anti-Racism (SACA). She's worked on multi-million-dollar capital campaigns, developed and managed successful grant revenue programs, led on racial equity and cultural growth initiatives, and supported organizational strategic planning. She holds a B.A. in English and an M.A. in Education. When she's not championing Seattle's nonprofit sector, she's talking about what she's reading, performing at a local venue with her band, or driving out to the ocean for a razor clam dig.
