LT Elevate: Build Foundational Leadership Skills and Community
Level up your leadership. Build skills, confidence, and community.
Are you an early-career professional ready to lead with more confidence, clarity, and purpose? LT Elevate is a six-month leadership program designed for emerging leaders with 3–8 years of professional experience across the nonprofit, private, and/or public sectors.
Once a month, you’ll join a diverse cohort in downtown Seattle for interactive, half-day sessions to build self-awareness, communication skills, and the confidence to lead teams effectively. By the end of the program, you’ll be equipped with practical tools and a strong peer network—ready to grow in your career, make a difference within your organization, and lead with integrity, purpose, and impact.

How You’ll Grow:
Emotional Intelligence and Self-Awareness: Clarify your unique leadership style and values. Develop greater self-awareness and emotional intelligence so you can lead with confidence and authenticity in any situation.
Communication for Impact: Hone your ability to communicate clearly and persuasively. Practice speaking, listening, and feedback skills that help you influence, tell your story, and collaborate across sectors.
Team and People Leadership: Learn how to inspire and manage others. Gain practical strategies for coaching teammates, giving feedback, and navigating conflict so you can build healthy, effective teams and motivate people to do their best work.
Adaptive Leadership: Embrace change and innovation. Explore adaptive leadership and systems thinking tools and connect your work to your organization’s mission, vision and values.

We anticipate a cohort of 40-50 leaders who:
Are emerging leaders: Participants typically have 3-8 years of experience, are managing people or leading projects, and are ready to sharpen their leadership skills.
Seek to learn across sectors: Individuals who want to build a network of peers from the public, private and nonprofit sectors. You’ll learn alongside colleagues from different fields, creating lasting connections that extend beyond the program.
Are driven to be changemakers: People committed to expanding their leadership influence. Participants bring fresh ideas from their work and leave equipped to drive inclusion and positive impact.

Tuition is tiered to encourage broad participation and reflect our commitment to equity and access. We also offer payment plans.
We encourage participants to seek employer sponsorship, as many organizations are willing to invest in their employees’ leadership development. The standard tuition is $3,000, with reduced rates available based on income:
Tier 1: $3,000 – For participants whose employer is a for-profit organization and is covering the cost of tuition, or for individuals/households earning over $110,000 annually.
Tier 2: $2,000 – For individuals/households earning between $70,000 and $109,999 annually.
Tier 3: $1,000 – For individuals/households earning below $70,000 annually.

All sessions are grounded in equity and inclusion practices, drawing on frameworks by BIPOC leaders and adaptive leadership scholars.
