LT Impact: Deepen Leadership Skills, Regional Knowledge, and Community with Lasting Impact
LT Impact is a leadership development program for mid- to senior-level leaders from the nonprofit, private, and public sectors across the Puget Sound region. Through a cohort-based experience, participants strengthen core leadership skills, build meaningful cross-sector relationships, and deepen their understanding of the region’s interconnected challenges and opportunities.
What You’ll Gain:

Program and Application Details

The LT Impact curriculum consists of orientation, two overnight retreats, eight monthly daylong sessions, and a small group project. The program schedule is available here.
September 16, 2026, 5:30-8 p.m. Orientation: the cohort gathers to foster initial connections and prepare for the program year.
Sunday, September 27, 2026, 9 a.m. – Monday, September 28, 2026, 5 p.m. Fall Retreat (mandatory): cohort members begin to establish trust and belonging as a learning community and are introduced to leadership frameworks.
October 8, 2026, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Neighborhoods & Communities Possibility Day: Possibility Days include site visits, experiential activities, small group discussions, and Q&A with regional leaders.
November 12, 2026, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Health and Wellbeing Possibility Day
December 10, 2026, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Economy Possibility Day
January 14, 2027, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Basic Needs Possibility Day
Friday, February 5, 2027, 9a.m.-Saturday, February 6, 2027, 5 p.m. Mid-Year Retreat (mandatory): cohort members deepen individual and collective understanding of racial equity and increase confidence on how to take action to confront racial inequities.
March 11, 2027, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Arts & Culture Possibility Day
April 8, 2027, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Environment Possibility Day
May 13, 2027, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Education Possibility Day
June 10, 2027, 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Final Possibility Day and Graduation: brings closure to the program year and celebrates the cohort’s graduation.
Small Group Project: Class members work in small teams on projects that benefit the community.

We seek to build LT Impact cohorts that reflect diversity across industry, geography, demographics, and life experience. Most participants bring 10+ years of professional experience and are actively engaged in their communities.

Tuition for LT Impact ’27 is $6,500. We offer financial aid and interest-free payment plans to help make the program accessible.
While we do not offer full scholarships, we aim to provide financial aid in a way that maximizes accessibility for participants.
To request financial aid, complete the short financial aid application included with your LT Impact application. All financial aid requests are confidential and do not affect selection decisions.

To ensure program excellence and a positive experience for all participants, selection is based on a competitive screening process. Not all applicants will be invited to interview; some may be accepted without an interview.

We look for candidates who demonstrate the following qualities. All application questions are designed to help you share how these show up in your experiences; there are no “right” answers.
Commitment to community engagement.
Leadership in their area of influence.
Curiosity, openness to multiple viewpoints, and a desire to broaden their perspectives.
Willingness to work in a multiracial learning environment, engage with others at different stages in their learning journey, and deepen their personal role in advancing racial equity.
A strong interest in the curriculum and a willingness to learn and practice LT’s values.
