LT'19 Graduation & Alumni Reunion

Celebrate the graduating class and welcome them to the LT family at LT's reimagined LT'19 Graduation and Alumni Reunion. New this year, we are revamping our traditional graduation event to also include an alumni reunion.

With more affordable ticket prices, an amazing speaker, and activities to help you connect with your classmates and the LT community, this is the LT event you don’t want to miss. We hope you will join us for:

  • Short program (45 minutes), which will include:

    • Keynote remarks from Ijeoma Oluo, local author of the New York Times bestseller “So you want to talk about race”

    • Inspiring LT’19 Class Speakers

    • Graduation Video

  • Delicious appetizers and no-host bar

  • Fun activities to help you reflect on your LT experience, as well as connect with the class, alumni, and regional leaders

Tickets: There is a sliding scale, starting at $45/ticket.

Logistics: There will be chairs and tables available for you to sit during the networking portion of the evening, as well as during the short program.

Ijeoma Oluo is a Seattle-based writer, speaker and self-described Internet Yeller. Her work on social issues such as race and gender has been published in The Guardian, The Stranger, Washington Post, ELLE Magazine, NBC News and more. She has been the Editor at Large at The Establishment since 2015. Her NYT bestselling first book “So you want to talk about race” was released January 2018 with Seal Press. Ijeoma was named one of the Most Influential People in Seattle by Seattle Magazine, one of the 50 Most Influential Women in Seattle by Seattle Met, one of The Root's 100 Most Influential Americans in 2017 & 2018, and is the recipient of the Feminist Humanist Award 2018 by the American Humanist Association, the Media Justice Award by the Gender Justice League, and the 2018 Aubrey Davis Visionary Leadership Award by the Equal Opportunity Institute.
